After an ultra-hectic, exhausting day at the Children's Museum in Denver for Noon Year's Eve, what better to do than to take the kids to Chuck E. Cheese?
We still don't know what we were thinking, but we had a great time and snapped a couple pictures along the way.

We thought it would be great fun to take the kids to the Children's Museum in Denver today for their Noon Year's Eve celebration.
They set up huge sheets of bubble wrap and then do a countdown and then let the kids jump all over the bubble wrap. Lots of fun.
This is the first year we have done this and we have quickly filed this idea away in the "glad we did it once" drawer.
The museum was bursting with people and you couldn't move around, let alone try to have fun.
If we ever return for this event (not likely!) we will just stay outside and not try to go inside.

As we always do, we spent the morning of Christmas Day just the five of us, as we opened our presents and had our Christmas breakfast.
In the afternoon we headed over to Nona and PaPa John's house for a wonderful Christmas dinner and to open some more presents and enjoy being with family.
As usual, it was a great morning and evening and a yet another great Christmas.

We hosted Christmas Even dinner tonight. It was a great night, even if a bit odd as the first Christmas after Jamie's Mom passed away.
Some very special moments made this a great night. Drew received a new set of drums and pretty soon everyone had some type of instrument or other noise-making device and Christmas memories were made.
It was a very fun night.

For two years now, Tracy has taken santa-hat pictures of the three kids.
Now that it has happened for two years in a row, it is sure to become a tradition.
Here are a couple samples of the results.
The final outcome to all of this was a picture-perfect photo that you will not see below. Why? Because it didn't happen. The picture-perfect version is courtesy of Tracy's amazing Photoshop skills.

Drew's preschool had their Christmas party today, and Nona and PaPa John got to come to see him too, leaving Daddy at home working (again).
Andrew always likes when he has visitors at preschool.

It has become tradition for Tracy and the kids to leave Jamie working at home while they go to Cherry Creek Mall for the day with Nona and PaPa John.
They always have a fun time walking through the big snow globe with the movie du year.
This year was no exception, and they all had an exceptional time.

The whole family got to be in the Longmont Christmas parade on Drew's preschool float.
Nona and PaPa John ran ahead of the float to take pictures and wave multiple times.
It was a fun night which was topped off with a nice dinner afterward.

The float was for Drew's preschool class and ended up looking great!
