The Denver Museum of Nature and Science held a special new members night tonight.
This was a great chance to see some of the things in the museum we normally wouldn't see, including some areas that are normally closed to the public.
There was a fun game set up to get you to visit all over the museum, and our kids all loved looking for and finding the big stars that identified the correct locations.
The night was topped off by a sundae bar before leaving the museum for home. It was a fun evening.

All three kids decided that they wanted to help Mommy make some food today. She, as always, was more than happy to have them help.

On a whim, we got out the small pools in our back yard today.
The kids had a wonderful time, and Jamie got a terrible sunburn after forgetting sunscreen for himself after slathering the kids.

Tonight, Jamie decided that the kids should eat dinner in the "Park" in our back yard.
The kids love to eat up there every once in a while, and today was no exception.

We took another short overnight trip to Colorado Springs this weekend.
Our original plans had us meeting the Kuepper Family at the Renaissance Festival on Day 1 and then all going to an outdoor worship music concert event on Day 2.
Day 1 worked as planned, but medical circumstances had us back at the North Pole instead on Day 2. It turned out to be a great trip, everyone had a great time.

Tracy was testing a new cake recipe today, and decided to make it fun for the kids.
For reasons unknown to any person, Tracy let all three kids have frosting at the same time, with instructions to spread it on the cake in front of them. Jamie would never have entertained that idea.
It all worked out very well, and the kids had a blast, although Brie finished and left before being in any shots.
Please note that this is not how all the rest of the Tracy Cakes you may have eaten are prepared. (Normally it's Toby licking the frosting...just kidding...or not?)

You will experience a UFO sighting more often than getting a good photo of all three of our kids actually looking at the camera at the same time.
When you get one, you have to share it. So, here it is.

We ate dinner outside on the deck today, and decided to snap a couple pictures.
Then, later, decided to share them on The Deba Blog.

We had a small family BBQ for the 4th this year. It was a lot of fun, and good food, and it is nice to have these special family times together.
The kids loved to eat the food, and got really, really messy. It was great.

It seems like every person has at least one picture of them falling asleep as a kid in a situation where one does not usually sleep.
This will be one of Lexi's pictures of such a time.

We decided to take a day trip to Denver to visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Drew has really been into space, volcanos and dinosaurs, so we figured this would be perfect for him.
We were right. All the kids had a blast, and we plan to visit again soon, especially since it made sense for us to just buy a family membership rather than just pay for a day's entry.
